Guess who was up with the cutest twins in the world from midnight to 7am? if you said Celine Dion you are totally wrong. Yes i had a few snippets of sleep in my rocking chair but most of the night was breast on breast off and then the next baby was hungry. so one hour for each baby and then by the time one is done the other is ready and it just keeps on goin' round. so i was cranky and then my carpal tunney became the worst ever and i was a level ten pain and was bawling until i was able to pop some pills to deaden the pain but that was after the blessing. This is one tough recovery. The best part about the recovery is my incinsion is totally fine. no infection and very little pain. alright enough about me i am sure you just want to see pics of them. well they are much cuter than me for sure!

Hi Jane! Hi Kitty!

The twins have arrived! They debuted on January 5, 2011 at 2:45pm and 2:47pm. Jane came first weighing in at 6 lbs. 0.7 ounces followed by Kitty(Katherine) at 6lbs 6oz. I know, Kitty was hogging all the food! Jane was 18 inches long and Kitty was 18 1/2. Both are beautiful and totally identical at this point. I am having double vision for sure. There were no complications with the surgery and I am doing great. I feel great being at home and am nursing them on demand. I love their little cries and chin quivers. They sound exactly the same too. We are so excited to have these two little angels with us now. Also, Jeremy is super awesome.

Happy Birthday Emily!

My baby is 5 today! I can't believe it cuz she still acts like a little baby. I have to remind her that 5 year olds don't cry and whine like babies do or else they have to wear a diaper and take naps. That usually sends her a jolt to behave. But we had a great little family party last night to celebrate this once in a lifetime birthday age. Since her birthday is so soon after Christmas, you would think that it would cost alot of money for presents. we have found the opposite to be true. Everything is usually clearanced so we were able to get the My little pony Mermaid castle(?) thingy with an extra set of mini cheerleading ponies to fit right along with it. That cake jeremy made turned out awesome. It was a rainbow cake copied from this blog, but much simpler. She was so surprised! How many kids get a six layered rainbow cake that tastes like cotton candy and decorated with My Little Ponies?? Anyhoo I am so amazed at how much she has grown and changed over the last year. She is still a diva/princess though. I guess you never grow out of that! Happy Birthday Little Emily!

Happy New Year!

Well my new year was about as exciting as this picture of Menudo.

Except there is no way in this life time i would wear those shiny pants. Jeremy made a six layer cake for Emily and i watched Confessions of a Shopaholic. Don't cringe. I love that movie cuz she is so adorable and i love all her clothes and i pretend that i have the money and the body to pull off those outfits. Btw, still pregnant. I have given up on delivering early. My BFF keeps my spirits up by telling me how amazzzing i am that i am carrying twins and "this too shall pass". I think i just wanted to start the new year with those babes already in my arms so i could get this crazy, sleepless, messy house, no shower, leaky boobs, sagging skin, fussy babies year over with.
